James Alvin Tester III, age 62, of Marion, IL passed away at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his home in Marion.

Jimmy was born on March 9, 1951 in Johnson City, TN to James Alvin Tester Jr. and Joan (Cox) Tester. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and liked working outdoors as a painter.

He is survived by his mother and step-father: Joan and Ted Cook of Louisville; his father: James Tester Jr. of Pennsylvania; a daughter: Tracy Baldwin of San Angelo, TX; 4 sisters: Kathy Tester of Louisville, Valerie Tester of Louisville, Belinda Garner of Soddy-Daisy, TN, Carrie (Tim) McGille of Paxton; 1 granddaughter and 1 great-grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and 1 sister (Elizabeth Tester).

There will be no services held for Mr. Tester. The Frank & Bright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
