Betty Elizabeth Borland, age 100, of Flora, IL formerly of Pleasantville, PA passed away at 1:25 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Flora Rehab and Healthcare Center in Flora.

Betty was born on January 5, 1913 in Elida, OH to Frank and Anna (Dilsaver) Schell. She married Harry T. Borland on December 15, 1939 in Lima, OH. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2004.

Betty is survived by her children: Sally (Donald) Shreffler of Flora, Harold (Carroll) Borland of Cottonwood, CA, and David (Dana) Borland of University Place, WA, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother, and 5 sisters.

A visitation for Betty Borland will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. The funeral service will be held at Garrett Funeral Home in Titusville, PA. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville, PA. Memorials are suggested to the Clay County Cancer Crusaders.
