Teri Miller, age 51, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Monday afternoon, August 31, 2020, at her home.
She was born February 18, 1969, in Flora, Illinois, the daughter of Gary W. and Marilyn K. (Gilley) Staley. She was united in marriage to Gene Miller on September 1, 2007, and together they have shared almost 13 years of marriage.
Teri worked at North American Lighting for over 25 years. She loved St. Louis Cardinals baseball and especially the opportunity to attend a game at the ballpark with her family. She enjoyed reading, bike riding, and caring for her home and yard, especially when decorating for the holidays. Teri cherished time spent making memories with her loved ones, friends, and special pets, and her legacy of love will continue in the hearts of others.
She is survived by her husband: Gene Miller of Flora; a daughter: Sarah Taylor Watson of Red Bud; a son: Connor Eugene Miller of Flora; mother: Marilyn K. Staley of Flora; sister-in-law: Anita Miller of Mocksville, North Carolina; a brother-in-law: Roger Miller of Albemarle, North Carolina; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father: Gary W. Staley.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2020, at Elmwood Cemetery. Those attending are asked to arrive directly at the cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday evening, September 3, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. In accordance with an Illinois mandate, face masks will be required, and social distancing is recommended.
