Bonnie L. Blair, age 88, a longtime resident of Clay City, Illinois, passed away Wednesday morning, October 14, 2020, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.
She was born July 6, 1932, in Flora, the daughter of Earl Lee and Flossie Pearl (Franklin) Monical. She was united in marriage to Dale L. Blair and together they shared over 50 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2000.
Bonnie enjoyed time spent outdoors and fishing, mushroom hunting, and riding motorcycles. She was a seasoned member of the bowling league and had bowled several 300 games. Bonnie was a restaurant waitress, worked as a hairdresser for 33 years, and was co-owner of Blair’s Used Cars. She will be remembered as a fantastic cook and for her loving relationship with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by a brother: Bob Monical of Flora; nephews: Kevin (Gwen Brown) Monical of Clay City, Dale (Becky) Monical of Flora, Warren (Tammy) Monical of Flora, and Mike Harris of Bartlesville, OK; nieces: Melinda Cotner of Texas and Monica Harris of Texas; and great-nieces and nephews: Matthew Monical, Kalin Monical, Crystal Lewis, Samantha Monical, Logan Monical, Dustin Monical, and Kendra Monical.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Dale Blair; sister: Jeanna Harris; brother: Billie; sister-in-law: Noma Monical; nephew: Mark Harris; and a great-nephew: Schyler Monical.
