Sally Neville, age 63, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Tuesday evening, March 16, 2021, at her home.
She was born May 11, 1957, in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of William H. and Sarah E. “Susan” (Glassford) Mack. She was united in marriage to Ralph Allen Neville Jr. on September 18, 2000, in Flora, and they have shared 20 wedding anniversaries together.
Sally had worked in the past at Dairy Queen, Grandma’s Kitchen, Flora Elks, and had been a crossing guard at McEndree School and later Flora Elementary School. She loved animals of all kinds, crocheting, and looked forward to her daily Bigg Swigg from Huck’s. Her grandkids were her pride and joy and she always had open arms for a hug. Sally will be remembered for having a heart of gold, helping anyone in any way that she could.
She is survived by her husband: Ralph Neville of Flora; 2 sons: Jason (Sheila) Winchester of Clay City and Aaron Winchester (Ashley Thomason) of Geff; 2 grandchildren: Clayton and Jalynn Winchester; and 2 sisters: Billie England of Flora and Nancy (Len) McGee of Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Patricia Anne Kemo; 2 nephews: Doug Burroughs and Mark McGee; and a brother-in-law: Larry England.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Sally’s cousin Doug Mack officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
