Norman Strange Sr.
Jan 14th, 1963 - May 25th, 2021Norman Leroy Strange Sr., age 58, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 25, 2021, at his home.
He was born January 14, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Lester L. and Annabelle (Brown) Strange Sr.
Norman worked as an auto body repairman for many years. He enjoyed working on vehicles, working with his hands, and was a talented auto body painter. Norman was often referred to as a regular “Jack of all trades,” a tool connoisseur of sorts, and had a real passion for cars. He will be remembered as a kindhearted and goofy man that would try to help people in any way that he could.
He is survived by his two sons: Norman Strange Jr. (Haley Neal) and Dylan Strange (Raven Willis), both of Trenton Tennessee; ex-wife: Beverly Strange of Trenton, Tennessee; grandchildren: Levi & Ryker Strange and Zadia Willis of Trenton, Tennessee; and 3 sisters: Carol Surrell of Flora, Brenda (Richard) Zwick of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Vivian Pruitt of Xenia.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lester Strange Sr. and Annabelle Barnard; grandparents: Rice and Lois Brown and Thomas and Millie Strange; and a brother: Lester Strange.
