James Mayberry
Oct 14th, 1943 - Jul 6th, 2021James “Jim” Ernest Mayberry, age 77, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 6, 2021, at his home.
He was born October 14, 1943, in Galatia, Illinois, the son of Thomas and Grace (Edwards) Mayberry. He was united in marriage to Deloris Erwin on May 29, 1972, in Benton, Illinois, and together they have shared 49 years of marriage.
Jim enjoyed watching wrestling and listening to country music.
He is survived by his wife: Deloris Mayberry of Flora; children: Glenda (Alan) Hammond of North Carolina, Rebecca (Sam) Oliver of Flora, Jerry (Shannon) Mayberry of Donovan, Missouri, Jamie (Dawn) Mayberry of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Jackie (Glen) Daugherty of Salem; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister: Cora Sue Brown of Carrier Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
