Michelle L. Powell, age 32, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
She was born February 8, 1989, in Flora, the daughter of Steven Blair and Glenda K. Persinger.
Michelle loved monkeys and the color purple. She lived by the motto “too blessed to be stressed” and put God first and foremost in her life. She attended Transformation Church of God in Clay City and enjoyed time spent talking with her Lord and Savior. Michelle always had a smile and kind word to share with everyone. She enjoyed helping with Santa’s Smiles and time spent with her boys and family.
She is survived by 2 sons: Ryker and Remington Lloyd of Marion; mother: Glenda Senters of Flora; siblings: Kimberly Bobbitt, Jeff Senters, Gina Senters, Constance Keppner, Franklin R. Senters II, Jamie Farmer, Gale Browning, Jennifer Dennis, Steven Powell, Nicole Keller, and Tasha Enriquez; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; her boyfriend: Thomas Tennyson; and best friend: Jessie Highsmith.
She was preceded in death by her biological father: Steven Blair; a son: Rennen Webster; daddy: Reggie Senters; brother: Shane Senters; maternal grandparents: Harold and Ida Persinger; paternal grandparents: Pidge Allen and Barbara Senters Marshall; and a great-niece Elliana Hazelwood.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Transformation Church of God in Clay City. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
