Dec 26th, 1953 - Oct 14th, 2021Glenda C. Cruse, age 67, of Rinard, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021.
She was born December 26, 1953, in Flora, the daughter of Dennis and Aline (Rinehart) Fitzgerald. She was united in marriage to Gary Cruse on March 29, 1997, and together they have shared 24 wedding anniversaries.
Glenda worked at Sparton Manufacturing, and later as an assistant manager at Pizza Hut and Burger King. She loved playing pool, reading, Bingo games, and listening to country music and Elvis Presley. She enjoyed fish fries and time spent outside. Glenda was a lover of all animals, especially ponies, cats, and kittens and served as past President of the Flora Eagles Auxiliary where she was a member for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband: Gary Cruse of Rinard; 2 children: Misty Kistner of Cisne and Derek Koch of Flora; 5 grandchildren: Bryan Williams, Tristen Wilson, Dakota Wilson, Maleah Wilson, and Knox Lee Scara; and 3 great-grandchildren: Brody Williams, Pasleigh Wilson, Corbin Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister: Elly Colclasure.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Pastor Richard Artis officiating. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
