Mar 9th, 1967 - Nov 15th, 2021Stephanie Leanne Harrell, age 54, of Flora, Illinois, found eternal peace with the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2021.
She was born March 9, 1967, in Fairfield, Illinois, the daughter of James and Judith (Billington) Shannon.
Stephanie had lived in Chicago for a number of years before returning to Southern Illinois. She loved her kids intensely and truly enjoyed being a mom. She was a great cook and was a longtime familiar server at the No More Nicotine Club in Flora. Stephanie was an outgoing conversationalist and would spend a few moments to talk with anyone. She enjoyed spending time listening to music and cared very much for animals, including her cat, Thor.
She is survived by her mother: Judy Shannon of Flora; a daughter: Abra Windle (Curtis Howe) of Flora; a son: James Harrell of Flora; 5 grandchildren: Ayvah, Layla, Ellie, Norah, Wren; and 2 brothers: John Shannon and Michael Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her father; great-grandparents: Wayne and Ernestine Billington; and very special friend: Troy Wyman.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, with Pastor Richard Artis officiating. A memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday. Private committal and burial will take place on Sunday, December 5, at Buckeye Cemetery near Geff.
