Mark Stanley Cazadd, age 64, of Xenia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born April 20, 1958, in Alton, to William "Bill" and Viola (Lukefahr) Cazadd. He married Dawn (Rascher) Cazadd on March 30, 1985, at Xenia United Methodist Church. Mark worked at North American Lighting for over 20 years and retired in January of this year. He was an avid gardener and passionate about regenerative agriculture. Mark was a handyman and loved starting new construction projects.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Rascher) Cazadd of Xenia; his son, Nicholas (Erica) Cazadd of St. Charles, Missouri; his daughter, Darian Cazadd (Russell Treat) of Wood River; and two grandchildren, Sadie and William Cazadd. He is also survived by his mother, Viola Cazadd of Florissant, Missouri; two sisters, Barbara (Alan) Woody of Venice, Florida, and Deborah (Michael) Crosno of Loveland, Ohio; and one brother, Scott Cazadd of Affton, Missouri. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Lulu Mae Rascher of Xenia; a sister-in-law, Cindi Rascher; two brothers-in-law, Kerry (Christy) Rascher and Tracy Rascher; two nephews, Michael (Lane) Crosno and Zac (Natalie) Rascher; two nieces, Kimberly (Larry) Schildmeyer and Hanna (Bobby) Allison; as well as many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill; and father-in-law, Roy “Bobe” Rascher.
A funeral ceremony for Mark will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2022, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association and will be accepted through the funeral home.
