Aug 17th, 1943 - Aug 28th, 2022Sharon Sue Davidson, age 79, of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Flora, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
She was born August 17, 1943, in Eldorado, the daughter of Raymond Leroy and Pearl I. (Johnson) Donley. She married Rex Davidson in 1999, and together they shared 15 wedding anniversaries until his death in 2014.
Sharon worked as an over the road truck driver for many years, owning and operating BAC Trucking in Centralia. She enjoyed crocheting and bowling, participating in many bowling leagues over the years.
She is survived by her 4 children: Anthony Donley of Mt. Vernon, Cheri Donley of Chillicothe, Ohio, Michelle Scrivner of Mt. Vernon, and Melanie (Chris) Lake of Thomasville, Georgia; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother: Roger (Neesa) Hayse of Woodlawn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: Timothy Allen Donley; daughter: Dana Rexanna Robinson; brothers: Lowell Ray Lloyd USMC and Fred Samuel Davis Jr.; and sister: Della Lynn Mullaney.
