Dec 4th, 1920 - Oct 30th, 2022Eva Fern Lewis, 101, of Hanson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at her residence.
She was born December 4, 1920, in Oilton, Oklahoma, to the late James Anthony Hurd and Hattie Ellen (Ferguson) Hurd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eldo Woodrow Lewis; three sons, Don Lewis, Mike Lewis, and Larry Lewis; a daughter, Debbie Jones; a brother, Clifford Hurd; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eva was a Nurses’ Aide for 29 years, and she loved to garden and especially tend to her flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane Priest of Hanson, Kentucky; and a son, Gary Lewis of Flora; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Burial will follow at Bloom Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. To share a condolence or memory, visit: www.frankandbright.com
