Marsha White
May 2nd, 1951 - Mar 13th, 2023Marsha Lynn White, age 71, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
She was born May 2, 1951, in Fairfield, the daughter of Hoyt Leroy and Noma May (Lambert) White.
Marsha was a lover of animals of all kinds and often volunteered her time at Fur a Good Paws. She was a member of the Flatlanders Social Club, was a master storyteller, an avid crafter, often drawing, painting, and crocheting, and a wonderful singer. Marsha enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, and playing games and was always determined to win at all cost.
She is survived by her children: Steve Smith of Centralia, Robert Smith, Melinda Bruce of Keenes, and Jay Smith of Flora; grandchildren: Amber Galbraith of Wayne City, Lexi Smith of Flora, Jaylyn Smith of Flora, Andria Smith of Centralia, and Adriene Enriquez of Centralia; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings: Cheryl Wathan of Xenia, Bill (Linda) Waller of Xenia, and Kent (Gloria) Waller of Greenville, Ohio; lifelong friends: Mary Kay Branch of Xenia and Tawanna White of Clay City; her beloved cats: Wiggles, Sweets, and Sugar; and beloved dog: CC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson: Brendan Smith.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday evening, March 18, 2023, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
