Ruth Jones
May 20th, 1929 - Apr 24th, 2023Ruth Nell Jones, age 93, of Newburgh, Indiana, and formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away on April 24, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.
Ruth enjoyed music, playing cards with friends, and shopping for bargains. She also enjoyed helping her church wherever she lived. She and Ellis spent nearly all their retirement years in Bonita Springs, Florida and thoroughly enjoyed the Florida sunshine.
She is survived by her 3 children: Jan Leek and husband Bob of Mt. Carmel, Jeff Jones of Lynnville, Indiana, and Mark Jones and his wife Kim of Lawrenceville. She was also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Ellis Jones; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
Private family services will be held with interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
