Roger Kirkman
Mar 8th, 1963 - Jun 10th, 2023Roger Lee Kirkman, age 60, of Altamont, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
He was born March 8, 1963, in Decatur, the son of Carl Leon and Janice K. (Pruitt) Kirkman.
Roger was the owner and operator of Kirkman Trucking. He had the ability to fix anything and could always be found turning wrenches and working on cars. Roger was a family man and will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, and dad. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and living his life to the fullest.
He is survived by a son: Roger L.D. Kirkman of Effingham; mother: Janice Pruitt of Flora; stepchildren: Melissa Reynolds of Flora and Cassady McCracken of Effingham; 2 sisters: Carla Jo Clevenger of Flora and Sandra K. (Tony) Curtis of Flora; a brother: Johnny D. Kirkman of Orchardville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Kirkman and 11 uncles.
