Jan 8th, 1961 - Aug 9th, 2023Gary Dale Sachau, age 62, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 9, 2023.
He was born January 8, 1961, in Decatur, the son of Byron Eugene “Gene” and Emma Jean (Haga) Sachau.
He is survived by an aunt, Donna McMorris; several cousins; and a longtime caregiver, Patricia Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings: Ron Sachau, Vicki Newby, Carl Sachau, Michael Sachau, Cathy Stevens, and Lisa Sachau.
A shared memorial ceremony for both Gary Sachau and Lisa Sachau will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Floral of Garden of Memories Cemetery near Flora, where burial will follow.
