Sep 26th, 1950 - Aug 12th, 2023William Herman Beck, age 72, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at his home.
He was born September 26, 1950, in Chester, the son of Harlan Peter and Della Marie (Copple) Beck.
Bill earned an associate degree in Auto Diesel Technology. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and watching movies, especially John Wayne films.
He is survived by 2 sons: William Ray Beck of St. Louis, Missouri, and Alan Michael (Brooke) Beck of O’Fallon; 4 grandchildren: Liam Beck, Oliver Beck, Hank Beck, and Emmaline “Emmy” Eileen Beck; a brother: Robert (Annette) Beck of Monroe City, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; a great-great-niece; and his special buddy, his dog Luke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Christopher Paul Beck; 2 sisters: Margaret Clara Beck and Patricia Ann Vasquez; and a brother: James Beck.
