Evelyn M. Anderson, age 92, of Flora, IL passed away Friday, September 06, 2013 at Flora Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Flora.

She was born November 11, 1920 in Flora to Jesse and Madge (Guyott) Anderson.  Evelyn had worked as a telephone operator with G.T.E.  She was a member of the Flora Church of the Nazarene and had been a member of the Flora Rebekah Lodge.  Evelyn enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting with relatives and friends.

She is survived by her son: John Anderson (wife Patricia) of Jacksonville, FL; a brother: Sam Anderson (wife Lucille) of Flora; a grandson: Todd Anderson (girlfriend Kim) of Jacksonville, FL; 4 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother (Estelle Anderson), a grandson, and a granddaughter.

The funeral service for Evelyn Anderson will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Pastor Phil Alvord officiating.  Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home.  Memorial donations may be made to the Flora Church of the Nazarene or to the American Heart Association.
