Bayley Walker
Sep 25th, 2003 - Oct 29th, 2023Bayley Allana Walker, age 20, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023.
She was born September 25, 2003, in Olney, the daughter of Dustin A. Walker and the late Deborah A. (Potter) Walker. Bayley was the first-born sister to her brother, Bryson Allan Walker, who was born in 2010. Both Bayley and Bryson passed away together, leaving their family heartbroken, but with loving comfort for the reunion in heaven with their mother and Christ.
Bayley was a 2022 graduate of Flora High School where she had been a member of the Choir and Drama Club. She had held various part time jobs. She had attended Xenia Methodist Church and was later baptized in Olney. Bayley enjoyed time spent on social media and was a fan of Harry Potter and the Fast & Furious Series.
She is survived by her father: Dustin Walker of Flora; stepfather: Alan Gertsch of Dundas; numerous step-siblings; paternal grandparents: Carole and Mike Helm of Flora; maternal grandparents: Kristine and Rick French of Kinmundy; maternal step-grandmother: Anne Potter of Red Rock, Oklahoma; paternal step-grandmother: Zoe Walker of Flora; great-grandmother: Janie Beguin of Ponca City, Oklahoma; great-grandfather: Don French of Ponca City, Oklahoma; aunts: Christy, Nikki, Kelly, Mandy, and Jennifer; uncles: Travis, Ricky, Brandon, Josh, Jeffrey, and Bryan; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Debbie Gertsch; maternal grandfather: James Potter; paternal grandfather: Ralph Walker; maternal great-grandfather: Jerrold Beguin; maternal great-grandmother: Lawanda French; maternal great-grandparents: Audrey and Herman Kukuk; paternal great-grandparents: Robert and Maxine Connerley and Riley and Donna Walker.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at New Beginnings Church in Flora. A visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the church. Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
