Mary Lou Oulrey, age 82, of Xenia, Illinois passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Clay County Hospital in Flora, Illinois.
Mary Lou was born October 14, 1930 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Roy and Eunice Marie (Wadeking) Oller. She married Francis “Cotton” Oulrey on March 31, 1958 in Olney, IL. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2009. Mary Lou enjoyed cooking and baking, playing Bingo, and spending time visiting with family. She was of the Christian faith and especially loved children.
She is survived by her sister: Bernice Brigman of Belleville; sister-in-law: Dena Wathan of Xenia; brother-in-laws: Buck Oulrey (wife Darlene) of Salem and Sam Oulrey (wife Lorraine) of Bonita Springs, FL; a step-son: Lawrence Dorn; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The funeral service for Mary Lou Oulrey will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Horsley officiating. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Xenia Fire Department.
