Donna Orwig

      Donna Kay Orwig, age 70, of Flora, Illinois, was called home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Flora Gardens Care Center.

      She was born February 9, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arthur George and Nancy (Stillwell) Taylor.  She was united in marriage to Jon Orwig on January 2, 1990, and together they shared 25 wedding anniversaries until his passing on July 10, 2015.

      Donna was a member of several charitable organizations.  She will be remembered for her sweet-natured and loving personality.  Donna always put others before herself and gave help to so many in need throughout her life.  She was blessed to have many faithful and caring friends.

      She is survived by 2 daughters: Michaela of Tennessee and Nancy of Arizona; 4 beautiful grandchildren; a brother: Arthur Scott “Joey” Taylor of Texas; and special friends: Theresa Taylor and Lisa Welch.
