Jo Jo Miller

      Joyce "Jo Jo" Miller, age 62, formerly of Louisville, Illinois, entered the happy hunting ground on Sunday evening, June 16, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

      Jo Jo was born April 2, 1962, on the Jicarilla Apache Nation Indian Reservation in northern New Mexico.  She took immense pride in her Native American heritage, finding joy in crafting and reading the Bible.

      Jo Jo is survived by her fellow Nde, which simply means "the People."  She also leaves behind dear friends John Spencer of Louisville, Twila Bible of Effingham, and Melissa Hampton of Louisville.
