Terri Paul

      Teresa “Terri” Sue Paul, age 66, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday night, October 27, 2024, at Flora Gardens Care Center.

      She was born September 8, 1958, in Salem, the daughter of Charles Harrison and Judith C. (Crown) Paul.

      Terri was a member of the Flora First Southern Baptist Church.  She had been a Registered Nurse since 1992, working at many local facilities over the years.  She was an enthusiastic sports fan, always cheering on her favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the University of Kentucky.  Terri enjoyed gardening, quilting, getting her hair and nails done, and playing pinochle with her family.  She was an excellent cook and was always given the privilege of making the family holiday meals.

      She is survived by her children: Amanda (Dallas) Clark of Flora, Lacy Bonner of Effingham, Chance (Taylor) Bonner of Flora, and Shelby Lewis (Michael Hazelwood) of Xenia; grandchildren: Ashton Clark (Madison Harrell) of Flora, Alexandra Clark (Derrick Pittman) of Clay City, Brooklyn Lewis of Xenia, Samantha Burke (Dylan Casolari) of Flora, Dallas (Cassandra) Clark Jr. of Bolivar, Missouri, Carlie Brewer of Doniphan, Missouri, and also one new grandchild expected in April; great-grandchildren: Paisley Pittman, Michael Miller Jr., Emma Miller, Lexi Miller, Madi Miller, and Braylen Burke; and siblings: Cheri (Ed) McCormick of Flora, Dana Switzer of Overland Park, Kansas, and Charles A. “Sam” (Erica) Paul of Salem.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents: John and Mable Crown; and paternal grandparents: Elbridge and Vivian Paul.

      A funeral ceremony will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Flora First Southern Baptist Church with Dr. Joel Hackney officiating.  Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia.  A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday at the church.  Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Memorial donations are suggested to Flora Southern Baptist Church for the benefit of the Journey Youth Group.  To share a condolence or memory, visit: www.frankandbright.com
