Phyllis A. Sinclair, 74, of North Port, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was the daughter of Quinn and Thelma (nee Davis) Smith, born November 10, 1939. Phyllis was a strong, inspiring woman who was caring and giving to family and friends. Phyllis was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte and a sewing club. She will be remembered as a dedicated, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going ballroom dancing and shopping.
Phyllis will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Gale; daughters, Lucinda Sinclair and Elizabeth Kelly; brother, Dale Smith and grandchildren, Rebekah, Autumn, Caidance, and Alexandra.
The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2014 with a service to celebrate Phyllis' life to follow at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. Interment will be privately held at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 20035 Quesada Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
