Oct 26th, 1960 - Apr 20th, 2014Vickie S. McCracken, age 53, of Clay City, Illinois, formerly of Flora, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.
Vickie was born October 26, 1960 in Olney to William Levern and Leona Marie (Hamilton) Pemberton. She married Edward L. McCracken on November 25, 1978 at the First Christian Church in Flora. Vickie worked various jobs including an aide at Flora Care Center, AMF in Olney, Burgin Manor in Olney, NAL, was store manager at Circus Video in Flora. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church, enjoyed fishing, and loved her pets.
She is survived by her husband: Ed McCracken of Clay City; son: Ed McCracken Jr. of Clay City; mother: Leona (husband James) Totten of Noble; brother: Tom (wife Maria “Button”) Pemberton of Flora; 3 grandchildren: Timothy Edward McCracken, Stephanie Gene McCracken, and Jenna Marie McCracken; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister (Janet England).
The funeral service for Vickie McCracken will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with visitation from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
