Jan 14th, 1986 - May 7th, 2014Jared Lee Garver, age 28, of Flora, Illinois passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at his home in Flora.
Jared was born on January 14, 1986 in Carbondale to the late Donald Kent Garver and Misty Dawn Woods. He married Carissa Patterson. Jared worked in the oil field for Gene Butler Drilling and attended Faith Tabernacle. He loved spending time with his boys, and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Jared's family includes 2 sons: Lyric Garver and Jayden Persinger; his mother: Misty Woods of Effingham; 4 sisters: Ashley (Derek) Perry of Flora, Jerrica Garver of Cobden, Morgan Musgrave of Flora, Ariel Allen of Salem; grandparents: Wayne & Ricki Lapington of Louisville; Jerry and the late Marg Garver of Cobden; and the late Terry Woods; aunts and uncles: Sonja Woods Harrison of Louisville, Terry (Danny) Lake of Effingham, Christa Lapington of Louisville, Chris (Sonya) Garver of Cobden, and Jimmy (Amanda) Garver of Cobden.
The funeral service for Jared Garver will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora. Interment will follow in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
