Farrell Ray “Bud” Hunt, age 65, of Flora, and formerly of Clay City, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
Bud was born June 22, 1949, in Cisne, the son of Raymond and Hazel (Atteberry) Hunt. He married Ruth (Pruitt) in 1988 at Zif Missionary Baptist Church. Bud looked forward to mushroom hunting and fishing, and whenever the television was turned on he was using the remote control to search for a Nascar race to watch.
