May 21st, 1958 - Dec 1st, 2014Lindell Lee Cosner, age 56, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014, at the VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.
Lindell was born May 21, 1958, in Effingham to Bill and Norma Lucille (Hawn) Cosner. He served in the U.S. Navy, worked as a mechanic, and was baptized at Red Brush Christian Church.
Lindell is survived by his father: Bill Cosner and wife Laura Margarett of Louisville; son Derek Cosner of Louisville; daughter: Melissa Schnepper (Toby Helms) of Flora; brother: James Cosner of Kansas; 3 sisters: Debbie Tolladay of Nashville, TN, Tammy Purdue of Georgia, Tina Manuel of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren: Shyanne Schnepper, Autumn Schnepper, Jason Schnepper, Shanay Schnepper, and Makayla Cosner; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, 2 nieces, and a nephew.
A funeral service for Lindell Cosner will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Dusty Elmore officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lindell’s family to assist with expenses.
