Dec 30th, 1966 - Dec 30th, 2014Jonnie Lynn Atkisson, age 48, of Xenia, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at her home in Xenia.
Jonnie was born December 30, 1966 in Flora to Leo Dale Atkisson and Regina Ruth (Pride) Whitmer. She was a proud mother and a stay at home grandma who loved her family. Jonnie was called “Mom” by many and enjoyed talking to people and helping them out when she could. She enjoyed flowers and was recently baptized at First Christian Church in Flora.
She is survived by her children: Gerald Rawls (Kalynn Bargh) of Louisville, Dakota Atkisson of Xenia, and Cheyenne Atkisson of Xenia; her companion: Willie Glass of Xenia; grandchildren: Harley Rawls, Marley Rawls, Raley Rawls, Haiden Atkisson, and Zaine Gibbons; grandmother: Lela Mae Pride of Xenia; brother: D.J. Hill of Clay City; sisters: Brenda Tibbs and Julie Mitchel of Flora, and Shawn Lee Dyer; nephew and nieces: Drake, Zoey, and Dezza Hill; several aunts and uncles; and Willie’s daughters: Misty (Daniel) Powers and children of Rome City, IN, LaToya White of Mason, and Billie Jo (Jake) LeMay and children of Roberts, WI. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; grandparents: Leo and Helen Atkisson; brothers: and Tony Atkisson and Rick Atkisson.
