   Janet Rebecca Rigg, age 67, of Rochelle, Illinois passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at her home in Rochelle.

   Janet was born March 3, 1947 in Fairbury, IL to Charles and Ferne (Bussey) Harrell.  She married Ray Rigg on November 27, 1965 in Cisne.  He preceded her in death on February 16, 2000.  Janet was the secretary at the Rochelle United Methodist Church for 37 years.

   She is survived by 2 daughters: Becky (Mark) Ackland of Rochelle and Jill (Mike) Secor of Marengo; mother: Ferne Harrell of Flora; sister: Judy (Paul) Winters of Watson; 6 grandchildren, 1 niece, and 1 nephew.  She was preceded in death by her father and husband.

   A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Rochelle United Methodist Church with visitation starting at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in Lawnridge Cemetery, Rochelle.  Memorials are suggested to RUMC, OSF Cancer Unit, or to that of the donor’s choice.
