   Carolyn Sue Ray, age 65, of Flora, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at her home in Flora.

   Sue was born June 15, 1949 in Edgewood, Illinois, to Oliver and Phyllis (Elledge) Allen.  She married Donald Ray on July 24, 1970 in Cisne.  He preceded her in death on August 29, 2008.  Sue had worked at the International Shoe Factory and enjoyed reading in her spare time.

   She is survived by her 2 sons: Gene Ray and Jacob Ray both of Flora; mother-in-law: Elsie Ray of Cisne; siblings: Alice (Bill) Tolliver of Flora, Elsie (Will) Braddock of Orchardville, Lu Harned of Flora, Rick (Debbie) Allen of Louisville, and Rocky (Anita) Allen of Flora; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 5 brothers.
