   Patti Lee Cook, age 62, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband at their home on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, after an eight year struggle with cancer. 

   Patti was born March 14, 1953 in Illinois to the late Glen and Wilma Lee of Sugarland TX. She was preceded in death by her sister Vicki Ann Moreau of Marietta GA. 

   Survivors include husband, James A. Cook of Concord, NC; one niece, Kristin Smith of Dallas, GA and her children Kylee and Dylan Whitinger.

   A graveside service was held at Onstott Cemetery in Xenia, Illinois, on Monday, June 1, 2015.  Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, assisted the family with local arrangements.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Pallative Care of Cabarrus County.
