   Brenda Cordray, age 45, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

   Brenda was born June 20, 1970 in Elgin, Illinois.  She was a caregiver, often putting the needs of others first, and enjoyed spending time with her kids.

   Brenda is survived by her husband: William T. Cordray of New Lexington, OH; step-father: Ted Pfortmiller of Flora; children: Ashli Cordray of Louisville, Shane Cordray of Cisne, and Austin Cordray of New Lexington, OH; 1 grandson: Reed Eckelberry of Louisville; sister: Lisa (John) Wallace of Xenia; 2 brothers: David Sorensen of Elgin and John (Barbie) Sorensen of Xenia; an aunt: Mary Freeman of Elgin; along with a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother: Teri V. (Young) Pfortmiller.

   A funeral service for Brenda Cordray will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Xenia United Methodist Church, with visitation from 12 (Noon) until service time at the church.  Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia.  Frank & Bright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to assist with funeral expenses and will be accepted by Frank & Bright Funeral Home.  To share a condolence, visit www.frankandbright.com.
