Dec 20th, 1926 - Feb 19th, 2016Helen Bishop, age 89, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016, at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora.
Helen was born December 20, 1926, the daughter of Rutherford and Rena Belle (Sapp) Jean. She had worked as a bartender at the Moose, VFW, and American Legion.
Helen is survived by her niece: Melody (Ken) Fisk of Big Sandy, TN; nephew: Luke Jean (Nancy Gray) of Olney; niece: Tawnya (Thomas) Davis of Flora; along with other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
A graveside service for Helen Bishop will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Parker Cemetery in rural Xenia. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
