   Robert M. McBride, age 83 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2016. He was born in Flora, IL to the late Rena and James McBride. He worked for many years as a medical technologist and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed traveling with his late wife, Mary and loved spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

   In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane McBride; brother, James McBride; sisters, Doris Barth and Dorothy Richars; and daughter-in-law, Victoria McBride.

   Robert is survived by his son, Stan McBride; grandchildren, Adam Martin, Joe Martin, Zach McBride, and Luke McBride; great grandchildren, Chloe and Kohl Martin; sister, Mary E. Venegoni; and many other loving relatives and friends.

   A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 3 at 1:00 pm at Kettering Seventh Day Adventist Church, (3939 Stonebridge Drive, Kettering). Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery, where military honors will be rendered. Robert's family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of service at the church on Thursday.
