Nov 7th, 1970 - Mar 12th, 2016Ditra Shanese Aldridge, age 45, of Flora, Illinois, departed this life on Saturday, March 12, 2016, after her battle with a long illness.
Ditra was born November 7, 1970, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to the union of love of Jewel Ann Aldridge and Randy Parnell.
Ditra showed love to everyone she came in contact with. She had a true love of life, her job, and her music. She accepted Christ in her life as her personal Savior at an early age. Ditra was an avid fan of Michael Jackson and if she was ever upset about anything, all you had to do was play one of his songs to calm her down. Ditra loved to dance and also loved to sing. She could also shop ‘til she dropped.
Ditra leaves to cherish her memories her mother: Jewel Aldridge of Fairview Heights; her brother: Marlon (Tricey) Brooks of Belleville; her uncles: Leonard (Wilma) Aldridge and Carlos Jeffries; her aunts: Gloria Aldridge, Yvonne Jeffries, Tawanna Jeffries; her cousins: Lynn Aldridge, Elondro Aldridge, Kacee Mann (Martel), Nicola Baird (Scott), Chonique Hall (Jose), CeCe Lee, Jamario Jeffries, Jamahl Jeffries, Devonne Jefries, Larry Beard, Perry Bossman, Tiara Beard; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Randy Parnell, her grandmother Lorraine Aldridge, and her uncle Robert Dukes.
