David Eugene Tracy, age 62, of Noble, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
David was born July 14, 1953, in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Kenneth and Jo Anne (Hough) Tracy. He was a general laborer in the oil fields during his younger years. David enjoyed being around people and loved spending time with family.
He is survived by 3 sons: Brent (Kelly) Tracy of Noble, Bradley (Melany) Tracy of West Salem, and Justin Tracy of Effingham; 6 grandchildren: Ashley Tracy, Derick Tracy, Tyler Tracy, Faith Ellison, Jacob Prochazka, and Ethan Tracy; 1 great-grandson: Hunter Fagin; siblings: Connie (Lonnie) Smith of Noble, Mike Tracy of Vincennes, IN, and Debra Ashbaugh (the late “Butch” Larry) of Noble; along with a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a great-grandson: Noah Tracy, and a brother-in-law: “Butch” Ashbaugh.
A funeral service for David Tracy will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
