Corbyn Michael Roberts was born May 11, 2015, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, the precious son of Jeremy W. Roberts and Nichole Kucharzyk. He came into this world weighing 4 pounds and 10 ounces, and was 18 inches long. Corbyn’s family had the opportunity to celebrate his first birthday recently, and they valued each day shared with him. On Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 10 p.m., Corbyn passed away peacefully at home in Flora, Illinois.
Corbyn’s health was affected by conditions called Dandy-Walker and Ohtahara Syndrome, and he had to spend many weeks of his life at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. However, this little man still had an opportunity to meet and charm everyone he met with his adorable good looks. Music became an important part of his life, and he found soft melodies calming, especially ballads by artists like Elton John.
Corbyn will forever be loved and his memory cherished by his mommy and daddy, Jeremy and Nichole, big brother Caden, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and other special people.
A visitation for Corbyn Michael Roberts will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. If anyone wishes to make a memorial donation, these are suggested to help Corbyn’s family with expenses incurred during the past year of his brief, but beautiful life. Memorial donations will be accepted through the funeral home (Frank & Bright Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Flora, IL 62839) and will be forwarded to the family.
