   Joyce “Jodie” Mellenthin, age 68, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

   Jodie was born July 30, 1947, in Edwardsville, the daughter of William Thomas and Shirley Mae (Weckman) Mellenthin. 

   She is survived by several siblings and an aunt, and will also be missed by staff and friends at Treeview Terrace, where she was a resident.

   A memorial service for Joyce “Jodie” Mellenthin will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with Pastor Bruce Horsley officiating.
