Robin Della “Hood” Woolever, age 52, of Louisville, Illinois, formerly of Flora, passed away Thursday evening, June 2, 2016, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Effingham.
Robin was born in Flora on April 13, 1964, the daughter of Dell Newlin and Julia (Edwards) Woolever. She worked at several jobs over the years including Mike’s Market as a cook and with their catering business, the Flora Elks Club with Phil Wiley, and cleaned houses with her mom. Robin and Kendra Dulaney operated Forget-Me-Nots in Louisville. She enjoyed frogs, flowers, butterflies, being outdoors, scrapbooking, and stained glass.
Robin is survived by her lifelong companion: Dan Tidwell of Louisville; daughter: Kelly Moats (fiancé Dustin Barnes) of Louisville; 5 grandchildren: Jersey, Brooklyn, Madison, MaKinley, and Jaselyn; sister: Gloria Chambers of Louisville; 2 brothers: Tim Woolever (Barbara) of Fairfield and Steven Woolever (Terri) of Mulvane, KS; sisters-in-law: Jane (Dan) Jennings of Fairfield, Beth Neese of Flora, Judy (Ron) Tyler of Fairfield, Dana Stevens of Kinmundy; brothers-in-law: Paul (Lori) Tidwell of Clay City and Matt Tidwell of Ina; best friend: Kim Buford of Birdsville, KY; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Deborah Kay Campbell, a brother-in-law: Kevin Chambers, a sister-in-law: Mary Tolliver, and Kelly’s father: Curt Moats.
A memorial ceremony for Robin Woolever will be at 6 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. A visitation will then follow the ceremony and will conclude at 8 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested to assist the family with expenses and may be directed to Frank & Bright Funeral Home, 500 N.
