   Evelyn Spicer, age 93, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Flora Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

   She was born December 1, 1922, in Louisville, the daughter of Russell Ray and Mary Laticia (Edwards) Tolliver.  She was united in marriage to Dewitt Spicer on September 20, 1940, in Clayton, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on December 21, 1981.

   Evelyn is survived by 2 sons: Darrell Spicer of Garland, Texas, and Terry (wife Ruth) Spicer of Louisville; 3 grandchildren: Shannon Garonzik, Wesley Spicer, and Phillip Spicer; and 3 great-grandchildren: Taylor Garonzik, Dustin Garonzik, and Dustin Spicer.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother: Harold Murbarger; an infant brother: Raymond; and 2 infant sisters: Loretta and Violet.

   A graveside committal service for Evelyn Spicer will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, with Carroll Ross officiating.  Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Memorials are suggested to Clay County Hospice.  To share a memory or condolence with the family, visit www.frankandbright.com.
