James Crawford Cosner, age 60, of Redding, California, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
James was born September 5, 1956, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Bill and Norma (Hawn) Cosner. He served in the U.S. Navy, worked in oil fields, and was baptized at Red Brush Christian Church.
James is survived by his father: Bill Cosner (wife Margarett) of Louisville; 3 children: Amanda Cosner, Natalie Cosner, and Zach Cosner all of Kansas; 3 sisters: Debbie Tollady (husband Roger) of Nashville, TN, Tammy Purdue (husband Tom) of Georgia, and Tina Buel (husband Leon) of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother: Lindell Cosner; 2 nieces; and 2 nephews.
A graveside service for James Cosner will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville. Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora is assisting the family with arrangements.
