Apr 10th, 1931 - Jan 28th, 2017Marilyn J. Mylius, age 85, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017, at her home.
Marilyn was born April 10, 1931, the daughter of Leslie and Lois (Bradford) Wells. She was united in marriage to Louis Arthur Mylius on June 5, 1960, in Flora. He preceded her in death March 31, 1964.
Marilyn had worked as an office assistant for several insurance businesses in Flora. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Flora.
She is survived by nephews and nieces: Roger (Debbie) Wells of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Randy Wells of Flora, Kent (Susan) Wells of Westminster, Colorado, Stephanie Von Almen of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Stacy Wells of Chicago; as well as great and great-great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother and his wife: Roger and Lenore Wells.
Private family services for Marilyn Mylius will be held. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to First United Methodist Church or Clay County Community Health Foundation, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
