Beulah Mae Snyder, age 92, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
Beulah was born February 22, 1925, in Xenia, the daughter of Omar and Rosa Ella (Sinclair) Slover. She married Ralph E. Snyder on April 27, 1974, in Flora. He preceded her in death September 7, 1998.
She and Ralph enjoyed traveling and spending time at their home in Florida. They also shared countless hours fishing together. In the past she had been involved in the Clay County Hospital Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and had attended the First Church of God in Flora.
She is survived by her grandson: Michael (Jenna) Snyder of Flora; stepson: Ronald (Bobbi) Snyder of Salem; stepgrandchildren: Melisa (Jason) Rittenberry of Nashville, Tennessee, Melane Green of Salem, and Marc (Ashlee) Snyder of Centralia; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a dear friend: Pat Cooper of Flora. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother: Clifford Slover.
