Chasity Vaughn
Oct 22nd, 1986 - Aug 26th, 2017Chasity Dawn Vaughn, age 30, of Olney, Illinois, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Chasity was born October 22, 1986, in Flora, the daughter of Stuart and Tressa Hamilton. She married Samuel Bruce Vaughn Jr. on February 9, 2009.
Chasity was a stay at home mom and often helped care for the elderly. She was a loving mother and had the kindest heart, always concerned about others first. She was outgoing, enjoyed fishing, and was a fanatic Packers fan.
She is survived by her husband: Sam Vaughn of Olney; parents: Stuart and Tressa Hamilton of Flora; 2 daughters: Ariel Marie Hamilton and Lorraine Lynn Vaughn; maternal grandparents: Betty and Rex Brown of Flora; paternal grandmother: Helen (the late Charles) Hamilton of Flora; 3 siblings: Angela O’Dell (Lester Jordan) of Cisne, Dustin (Julie) Hamilton of Olney, and Kaylee Hamilton (Benjamin Jordan) of Louisville; sister-in-law: Diane Lynn Rainey of Little Rock, AR; along with nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her in-laws: Samuel Bruce Vaughn Sr. and Betty Mae Vaughn; sister-in-law: Theresa Lynn Smith; and great-grandparents: Clarence and Mary Spitzner.
A funeral service for Chasity Vaughn will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, with a visitation starting at 3:30 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in the Floral Garden of Memories Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Frank & Bright Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
