   Aaron Kyle Kurtz, age 38, of Potosi, Missouri, passed away December 15, 2017.

   Aaron was born September 23, 1979, in Flora, Illinois.  He was united in marriage to Vanessa Martin on June 27, 2009, and they shared eight years together.  Aaron’s favorite things to do were cutting down trees and starting fires.

   He is survived by his wife: Vanessa Kurtz of Flora; three sons: Jonas Kurtz, Ryker Kurtz, and Sebastian Kurtz; mother: Sandy (Taylor) Kurtz of Olney; father: Harry Kurtz of Iuka; two brothers: Darin Kurtz and Troy Kurtz; three sisters: Kim (Jerrod) Ferguson, Karen Ferguson and Melanie (Don) Poindexter; father-in-law: Eddie Martin; mother-in-law: Angie Martin; brother-in-law: Robert Martin; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and two great nieces.  Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents.

   A committal service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, with Pastor Mike Evans officiating.  Frank & Bright Funeral Home assisted the family with local arrangements.  To share a condolence or memory with the family, visit www.frankandbright.com.
