Linda Ranes

Linda K. Ranes, age 67, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Linda was born October 23, 1950, in Fairfield, the daughter of R.D. “Jake” and Frances (Brown) Maier. She married Randy Ranes on June 23, 1984, at Bethel Christian Church in Louisville and have shared 33 years of marriage together.
Linda worked at the First National Bank in Crossville and also owned and operated the Needmore Store in Louisville. She loved her grandkids very much, was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed doing cross-stitch and reading.

She is survived by her husband: Randy Ranes of Louisville; daughter: Beth (Mike) Sander of Evansville, IN; son: Cody (Gretchen) Ranes of Bayside, CA; two grandchildren: Paisley Ranes and Talon Ranes; one brother: Gary (Sharon) Maier of Evansville, IN; two sisters: Anita (Jim) Sullivan of Grayville and Ellen (Richard) Cleveland of Tonganoxie, KS; along with two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
