Frank V. Urbanski, age 60, of Xenia, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018, at his home.
Frank was born in Pinckneyville, on April 5, 1958, the son of Lucjan and Donuta (Pas) Urbanski. He married Daphne Helm in 1986 in Orchardville. Frank served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division and was plant manager at Xenia Manufacturing, Inc. for 18 years. He attended St. Stephen Catholic Church and had several pastimes he enjoyed including: gardening, NASCAR racing, motorcycle riding, rock and diamond hunting, playing lottery, and going to auctions and antique swaps.
Frank is survived by his wife: Daphne Urbanski of Xenia; daughter: Desiree (Donnie) Pursley of Wayne City; son: Thadius (Rayden)Urbanski of Keenes; 2 granddaughters: Ayden and Alexandra; and siblings: Susan Moore and Anthony (Lisa) Urbanski all of Woodlawn, Stevie (Deanna) Urbanski of DuBois, and Agnes (Johnny) Skabialka of Centralia. He is also survived by an uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, father-in-law, and sisters-in-law. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and mother-in-law.
A funeral service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Burial will be in Powers Cemetery, Xenia, with military honors. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to assist the family with expenses.
