Luella Jane Justice, age 79, of Fairfield, Illinois, and formerly of Clay County, passed away early Sunday morning, October 7, 2018, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
She was born August 8, 1939, in Xenia, the daughter of Carol Eugene & Martha Alice (Hammack) Young.
Luella loved opportunities to see her family, play bingo, and watch wrestling on television. She had a caring heart for animals of all kinds, and will be remembered for demonstrating a strong Christian faith through her kindhearted, sweet spirit.
She is survived by her husband: Bobby Lee Justice of Fairfield; siblings: Velda Lambrich of Flora, Everett (Roberta) Young of Rinard, Ida Rado of Flora, Linda Pruitt of Flora, Charolette Pride of Flora, and Danny Lee Young of Cottage Grove, OR; sister-in-law Linda Rose Young of Oregon; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver niece: Bobbie Kamboures of Flora.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Lisa Anne Justice; and siblings: Florene Sharp, Bill Young, Scott Young, and Kimberly Scroggins.
A graveside service will be 12 noon Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Powers Cemetery in Xenia, where interment will follow. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
